How Do I... Schedule a Building Inspection
To schedule a building inspection please follow these steps.
*Please call 24 hours in advance*
- Call (508) 358-3600 during regular business hours.
- DO NOT leave a voicemail to schedule a building inspection.
Inspectors must be given at least 24-hours notice prior to the time when the inspection is requested.
If your inspection passes, the inspector will sign off in the appropriate location on the back of the job card, and you may proceed to the next phase of work.
If no signature appears on the back of the job card for the scheduled inspection, please contact the inspector.
Building Permits:
- PERMIT HOLDER ONLY: Email request one time to: build-permit@wayland.ma.us and please provide
- Street address
- Building permit number
- Description of work to be inspected
- Following your email request, staff will confirm a date and time as soon as possible during normal business hours.
